Though I have posted this info in another thread, I thought it deserved its own post as well.

There is a small private albergue in Sao Caetano, after Golega and a few km before the Quinta da Cardiga.

Albergue de Alexandre Hachmeister (9 beds); 15 euros with breakfast. Tel: 917 063 823. This telephone number is Alexandre's and is the one listed in the online CSJ guide.

But a better number to try is the number of Ana Rita Sanches, 914 951 076 (if calling from outside Portugal you must add 351).

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

Pleased you meet you at the sacred place of the oficina de peregrinos in Santiago yesterday and it is an honour to us that you wrote our names on the Compostelas and handed them over personaly ( with a hug too !) thats the pilgrims spirit optima forma.

And it made our day too. Some minutes later we met our English friend Stephen Nicols at the Casino café, drank a beer together (which I owed him one but that's an other story :) and had some good laughs. Lots of succes with your camino Ingles Stephen and no blisters.. We know the secret by now how to avoid them :)

Buen camino
Albert and Nel from Holland

Hi, albertinho and Stephen,
Yes, it was so great to meet some forum members, and even though I didn't have much time to talk, it was nice putting a person to the forum name.

Looking forward to hearing about Stephen's Ingles, now that I'm back home and trying to get over jet lag and post-pilgrim office blues! Laurie

p.s. It was very nice of Alberginho not to mention that because of all the hubub and chatting, I forgot to put the stamp of the cathedral on his and Nel's credential, but luckily the very observant Willem from the Dutch hospitality room upstairs noticed it and quietly brought them down for me to correct my error. :D

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hi all, this will be our last night on the trail and we would like to stay somewhere with a good atmosphere and perhaps a shared dinner. Any recommendations? Thanks all!!
