Oct 2023
Am heading out solo Oct 12 from Portugalete (Bilbao) to Castro Uriales on Day 1 and eventually to Llanes by Oct 20.

I did the Irún to Bilbao stretch in May. Will do the Primitivo early 2024. French and Portugués route done in recent years also.

Am content solo but company welcome for any/ some of this walk.

Me, Irish, in 60s; an able hill walker and long time outdoorsy type etc. Am expecting to cover av 25 km per day. Have maps / gos route customized for minor variations from official Norte route and my hotels booked.

Let me know if interested.

Maybe. I'll start from Irun next saturday.
I'm also a solo walking woman, from the Netherlands. I don't know yet how and how much I'll walk. I have printed the last updates and alternative routes David wrote earlier this year, I think of following those.
So maybe we see each other.

Hello everyone, I will have to work digitally about every other day from Irun to SdC (bringing an iPad). What are the wifi connections like along the entire route? What about the Primitivo? Thanks.
