Northern Pilgrim to be

Born in the Heartland of Sweden. In a place Where the streets have no names. Grew up nearby Where the wild roses grow. Where I used to Run with Wild horses and Play with fire.
A Runaway train. With an Everlasting love for life and its Mysterious ways. A Dreamer , Trying to get heaven. I still havent found what I´m looking for, but I´m One step closer each day. Trying to throw my arms around the world.

When the first flowers of this spring started to grow , so did a longing in my heart to go again. And there we re no other ways to live than by heart , so I will follow. Life is a journey, where the importance lies within the way we travel rather than the destinations.
I m heading to Spain this time and Barcelona is on the map. Will work June out and then go. The plan is to walk the northern route San Sebastian- Santiago de Compostela but I m open for suggestions and I m hoping to see you in my crossroads throughout. I havent set a startdate yet I can get a gleam of Spain first and walk in the autumn or the other way around. But I will come along ! :)
Nice to meet you all ! Looking forward to share stories , info. and knowledge and if anyone is heading simular ways and want a walkingfriend -let me know.

Best wishes to you all and greetings from / Marina

Hi Marina and welcome to the forum. A friend of mine who is also a forum member by the name of dawn, from Canada has walked the coastal route a couple of years ago. We met on the Camino and she has since done the Silver Route too. I will let you know if I find her on the member list and you can contact her if you like. Gitti

Hi and welcome!

Your plan to walk the coast is a great one, in my opinion!

My only suggestions are to go as light as possible and pay most of your money for EXCELLENT fitting trail shoes (lots of ups and downs) and a VERY lightweight pack.
