I'm planning to stay in O Refugio albergue in Cotelas in September. Is it recommended to book in advance? If so, does anyone have any contact details for O Refugio?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Is it open again? O Refugio was still closed when I passed in late May.
