On the way to San Gimignano, Italy ... Via Francigena
Last night, I had a very nice communal dinner at the Ostello Sigerico, Gambassi Terme. I sat at a table with a guy from Norway and four others from Belgium. Great conversation. The short walk today was beautiful. There is a picture of San Gimignano off in the distance, the view from my hotel room, Duoma di San Gimignano, and some of the Towers in San Gimignano.

Thomas, thanks for posting. San Gimi is bizarre and wonderful.
I was a tourist when I visited, but one who lingered by every Via Francigena route marker..
I am most envious of you being there! Best wishes for your journey.
