That was me 2 years ago, so excited for my first camino. Enjoy the anticipation, this will be a memorable experience for you.

I leave in 5 days myself, for Paris then to Lisbon to start the CP on August 30.

Uh, Wanderlust57, many of us on this forum are repeat pilgrimagers. The camino is like eating potato chips, you can not stop at one.
Buen camino.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Another journey? Have you been on that pilgrimage before?

I'm not sure which pilgrimage you mean but I have done the Francés from SJPdP and the Portuguese Coastal. This time Will be the Portuguese Central route then the Sanabrés, the Inglés and then wherever my feet take me for the last 3 week before my scheduled flight home.

I wish you all the best and hope you it is as meaningful to you as it was to me.

Mike

Thank you Sailor! You may catch up to me, I really do like to wander!
Buen Camino
Actually, Team Sailor [my wife and me] will start slow and then ease off. We will take our time, enjoy every single step, and I have no idea [and no worries about] when or where our camino will end . . . and when that happen we will just pack and come home. Good luck, que la luz de Dios alumbre su camino.
