Good morning from Ireland, just a quick question I plan to buy an osprey backpack for our camino starting on July 6th before I do is anyone selling a 2nd hand one? Preferably in Ireland so it can be shipped easily. Also any recommendations on backpacks for young teens?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Osprey is a great choice, but make sure it's the right size and fitted correctly to you. Every year they come out with a new and useful technology update, so often there's value in buying new if you can.
Buen Camino!

Have a look in Great Outdoors, they have the biggest selection in Dublin. Are you a member of the Irish Camino Society? If not, join.. you will get a good discount with the membership card..

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Other options… Deuter and Lowe Alpine are easily accessible in Ireland. On CF for the last days with a these bags, 40(+10) and a 35(+10) respectively, plenty of room and very comfortable

I have a 25litre Lowe alpine woman specific you can take if you want. Pm me if you are interested. Getting stuff for 3 will end being fairly costly. You can at least try it, no harm if you decide against. Can meet in Dublin. Also, Flog is right about joining the Camino Society...

Hi
I'm on the Camino Frances now with an Osprey Sirius 24. It's great. I also have an Osprey 36 at home. Neither for sale but you're welcome to borrow both. I'm in Meath and will be back on 27 May.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
If in Dublin, go to the Great Outdoors.
They're quite knowledgeable and have a good assortment of packs, and a good few of the staff are avid hikers and walked the camino

Hi again
Sorry not to get back to you. I'm back from Camino and life is infinitely busier when there's more to consider than where to eat/sleep and how far to walk!!
I'm close to Ratoath/Dunshaughlin in Meath and I'm pretty flexible on time. If suits you, we could meet in Avoca at Dunboyne/Clonee or some day I may get out closer your direction. Whatever suits you.
