Has anyone had 'negative' encounters with "That Man" (hospitalero) in Ourense?
I seem to be getting the impression that some few of us aren't the only ones.
If you're lucky to be 'signed-in' by the female hospitalera - Great ! They seem to alternate days in looking after the Albergue. Nice place though, too bad this one person seems to leave a bad impression on some of us.
Just a warning to furture pilgrims on the Sanabres route.
I've even discussed this person with the tourist office in Ourense - but no help there.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Hi, Paco Camino, If this is the same guy who was there when I was there in 2013, his behavior with me was that of an indifferent bored civil servant. Close to rude but I've seen worse (such as the guy in Lugo, now there's a piece of work). The hospitaleros in the Ourense albergue are paid municipal employees (as is the guy in Lugo, I think), and probably are politically connected to the party that's in control of Ourense now.

Hello P2000,
Wow, you mean there's another, worse than the Ourense fellow. good to know for the Primitivo Camino.
Yes, I do seem to remember, that the tourist office mentioned that the Albergue is now run by Municipal of Ourense. Such a shame, nice albergue, location.
