It looks like part of the South Island in NZ because of the gorse! Felt very at home in that area.Ya know something, @Hikoi? That picture looks a LOT like the view from the top of Warrior Hill -- in Canada's Quetico Wilderness. (Um, except for the gorse...)
Yes, yes and - yes!Would you pack for wet weather in April on the Sanbres ?
That'll save me the trip then to go and see it!
I never walk anywhere without the rain gear and sometimes it's been ages since I needed it, but mark my words the day I leave it at home, that's the day it'll rain.
Yes, it seems like Galicia has bipolar disorder!Expect rain in Galicia for sure. A poncho is fairly compact. I went in late July through Galicia and struck constant drizzle on one day. Not enough to break out the poncho but enough for the wind jacket. The day I arrived in Finisterre was a glorious day. So much so that I was tempted to go out the next day to buy a bikini. When tomorrow arrived however it was cold and wet.
'There is no bad weather, just poor preparation'. I always want to hit people who say that.

It does! And a little like the hills south of Dublin too - made me ponder about the type of places the Celtic people ended up in!It looks like part of the South Island in NZ because of the gorse! Felt very at home in that area.
View attachment 32941 Yep - last year the Sanabres was wet in April. This is a break in the weather on the way to Campobecerros... along the road from A Gudiña it pelted down from above - with the trucks spraying from the side!
