I really liked the german albergue "Casa Paderborn". It is just after the Bridge, before entering the old city and not too far from the bulls arena. But this albergue fills up very quickly and does not take reservations.

I believe that it was one of the only albergues that was open during San Fermin.

I second Casa Ibarrola, but you’ll need to book as it’s popular. You get the key code to the door, so you can come and go whenever you want.

If you are looking for a nice hotel I stayed at the Pamplona Cathedral Hotel daybefore leaving for St Jean. Train was a 15minute walk to the other side of town. I was trying to get over some jetlag I wanted to be comfortable ....very nice but not cheap. Staff is wonderful and very helpful ...excellent service. It’s central to everything just around the corner from the cathedral and just above where the pilgrims enter the old city. On the way back I stayed in the municipal albergue...clean and not bad also not far from the cathedral

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
We stayed at Aloha Hostel very near the cathedral in Pamplona. It was bright, kitchy, and lovely, and included breakfast. Found it on booking.com and very happy with this choice!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

About a block before Casa Ibarrola is the Pamplona Hostel with similar beds.
And about a block further along Calle Carmen from Ibarrola is another with pod style beds, Albergue de Pamplona.
The two that Falcon and Rick mentioned in Pamplona above appear to be one and the same, at Calle Carmen, 18.
Thank you Jill for clearing up any confusion I caused. It looks as if Falcon and I passed each other walking down Calle Carmen in different directions.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
