Last year I walked from Mont. St . Michel, through the Vendee, then the Voie Littorale, folloewed by the Ruta de Norte as far as Santander in 47 days, but was stricken by a foot infection which turned out to be osteomyleitis of a foot bone ( the navicular ). To quote John Humphreys ' I've started so 'I'll finish.' I plan to walk to Irun, then take the train to Santander and finish off from there as I am time constrained and only just back to full power.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
The foot does not sound good. Does the condition come from aggravating a fracture? Good health and buen camino.

No my former medical colleagues were as bemused as myself considering I am an experienced lon distanced walker 'Three Peaks'. Pennine Way, GR 7 etc.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
