Another boring question from a novice! I need to travel from Paris to SJPDP on April 11 and am a little confused about the best way to get there. I would prefer to catch a train rather than fly to Biarritz. As I’m already going to be in the centre of Paris, I thought it might be more efficient just to head the the central train station (first time in Paris and travelling this bit solo).

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Brendajoyce,

From the Gare Montparnasse take a high speed TGV train to Bayonne. You must have a reserved ticket for the TGV. The price of the ticket is cheapest the earliest you book it. You can book on line and at the same time book a local TER train to Saint Jean Pied de Port.

Use either Trainline, or the SNCF site to book online.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

https://www.thetrainline.com and https://www.seat61.com/train-travel-in-france are two sites I’ve been using to plan some near future train travel. The first one, as mspath mentioned earlier, is for searching, comparing prices and buying tickets; the latter is a good guide concerning all facets of European train travel. Buena suerte y enjoy some time in Paris, too. Great city! And, of course, buen camino.🤙🏽
