I am planning to do my Camino in March-April 2014. I retired 7 years ago, having practiced as an Emergency physician for 35 years. My wife died 6 months ago and have decided to do the Camino with both spiritual and emotional reasons. I have planned on preparing myself for the next 18 months to meet the physical challenge of doing the Camino. I had hoped to hear from anyone from the Philippines (my birthplace) who may be planning to do the Camino also. The postings in the Forum continue to inspire me as a very good source of information about the Camino
