From what I understand, if any pilgrims attend the 8:30 mass in the Capilla Mayor of the Seville Cathedral, they'll now be given some sort of special blessing.

That seems to be correct. Well done the local Amigos for organising this. It will be meaningful to a lot of pilgrims.
Curious Anne-Marie - is that 8.30 a.m. or p.m. (20.30)?

Does anyone know whether this Pilgrim's blessing after the 8:30 Mass in the cathedral in Sevilla is still occurring? All of the threads I could find on the subject seem pretty old.
