The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I like the Parador experience when passing though a town with one (or 2 in the case of SDdlC). They are excellent value and very reasonably priced. In almost all cases, bar a few disappointments over the years, I've had delicious evening meals and good, filling breakfasts.
The Pilgrim's rate is basically the same as the Early Booking rate. It's possible to score even cheaper prices by scouring online booking agencies, though this really is nickel-and-diming.

We have stayed at the Parador in Santo Domingo de la Cazada 3 times. Nice breakfast if you want to stay that late. Rooms luxurious compared to an albergue. Good, but pricey bar. Lovely dining experiences if you eat lunch or dinner. Have also eaten at the Parador in Zamora for Christmas dinner. The rooms are as nice nothing too special. Towels, sheets, nice furniture. We stayed for our anniversary one year.

Edit: as pilgrims in Santo Domingo the laundromat is only about a block away.

I treated myself a night at the Paradore on Santa Domingo last year for the night before my birthday, and enjoyed the luxury of a bath to float in, a choice of 6 huge fluffy white bathtowels, bathmat & heated bathroom floor!!!! I had walked through snow the few days before so this was a super warm treat.
Late checkout was great as I had lots of communication in the morning from home on the other side of the world.
At breakfast, I was presented with a huge slice of vanilla cake with a candle & the staff sang me happy birthday. Someone had noticed my date of birth on my passport at check-in. After very late checkout, I only walked to Granon, & the observant hospitalero noticed it was my birthday. He rang his wife in France for the recipe & made his first ever apple cake which was our communal dessert, complete with candle & song.
I felt so special & it is a birthday I will never forget. Accommodation in Granon was a thin matress in a loft, & different special to the Paradore. Such precious memories!

Does anyone know if there are any Paradores along the Camino Sanabrés?

I stayed in a Parador recently, and was offered a choice of the pilgrim discount or the age discount without going through the booking process shown here. I'm not suggesting one could rely on that, but it was a nice sweetener. I don't think there was all that much difference between the two rates, but the pilgrim offer did include breakfast.

During busy times I would definitely reserve ahead at a Parador and use pilgrim or age discount. Sometimes they do run "specials" for certain holidays, but usually those book up quickly.
