Good morning everybody,

in two weeks I am starting my pilgrimage from Czech Republic to Rome. Since I´ve heard that there is possibility to get some kind of Credential, I would like to ask you if you have any idea how can I get it before joining Via Francigena. I would feel grateful for any other advice too - does anybody have experience with this trail and has any recomendation for me? I am starting in my house in the city of Ceske Budejovice. I will honestly appreciate any map, information about accomodation etc. Thank you very much for your help!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Thank you for your answer! Unfortunately the trail discussed in that topic is not any useful to me, since I live 200 kilometres southern from Prag. I have my trail almost prepared, the only thing I am trying to solve now is how to get from St. Moritz to Piacenza to join Via Francigena...

I wonder if you could make your own credential? You could buy a small notebook and perhaps paste a letter signed and stamped by your local Catholic priest onto the first page (in the languages of the countries you will be going through) saying what you are doing and asking the reader of the letter to offer shelter and assistance?

Just a thought - good luck on your journey
