Pilgrim's Beatitudes

These 'bienaventurazas' had been given to me by a friend on the occasion of our first Camino. Another friend gave them out to me today. They may have been posted here before (Sil?). Usually they are in Spanish (only in the masculine form). I have translated them in English, while taking some liberties.
I thought maybe some might be interested in them.

Blessed are you, pilgrim, if you discover that the camino opens your eyes to what one cannot see.
Blessed are you, pilgrim, if you are not so much concerned about arriving, but arriving with the others.
Blessed are you, pilgrim, if looking at the camino you discover it is filled with names and sunrises.
Blessed are you, pilgrim, if you've found out that the Camino begins where it ends.
Blessed are you, pilgrim, if your backpack keeps getting emptied of things and your heart does not know where to hang so many emotions.
Blessed are you, pilgrim, if you understand that a step back to help someone is worth a thousand steps forward without looking at your side.
Blessed are you, pilgrim, if words fail you to thank for all that surprises you at every twist in the road.
Blessed are you, pilgrim, if you look for the truth and make of your camino a life and of a your life a camino in search of what is the Way (the Camino), theTruth, and the Life.
Blessed are you, pilgrim, if on your way you meet yourself and give yourself all the time in the world not to neglect the image of your heart.
Blessed are you, pilgrim if you discover that the camino is a lot about silence; and silence, about prayer; and prayer, about the encounter with the Divine waiting for you.

These are lovely!
I have been collecting pilgrimag prayers and mantras for a few years. One of my favourite spiritual writers is Thomas Merton.
This 5th C prayer is one of my favourite pilrim prayers - especially the last two lines!

St. Gildas 5thC - Pilgrims’ Prayer

In health may I and all of my companions
Safely arrive with no harm or injury –
May my boat be safe in the waves of the ocean,
My horses safe on the highways of the earth,
Our money safe as we carry it with us
To pay due heed to our poor necessities.
May our enemies fail to do harm to us,
However evil the counsels which inspire them,
In the eternal name of Christ our Master,
May my roads all lie plain before me,
Whether I climb the rugged heights of mountains,
Or descend the hollow depths of valleys,
Or trudge the lengthy roads on open country,
Or struggle through the thickets of dense forest:
May I walk always in straight ways and shining
To longed-for places . . .”

Thank you for this prayer, Sil. I did not know it at all.
I also love Merton's prayer!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Thank you both for these wonderful prayers. Do you mind if I put them on my blog in the future?
