Camino Frances 2023
Hi. If I stop at a private Hostel or Hotel along the Camino Frances route will I still be able to get a stamp in my Pilgrims passport or do I have to seek out an appropriate Pilgrims Albergue. Thanks.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Almost certainly it won't be an issue, almost every cafe/bar/restaurant/accommodation has a stamp.

Ideal pocket guides for during and after your Camino. Each weighs just 40g (1.4 oz).
You will, just ask. You will also be able to get them at bars/cafes, bakeries, churches if they are open, and many, many other places.

I always start collecting them at every place I stop from the start of my camino. I am then in the habit when I get to the 100 km point, and have a wonderful record of my journey.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
You do know any stamp, whether Camino associated or even a just a plain business one, is valid?
Yes, but I have been told the last rwo days at two places that they have no stamp of any kind. One bar/restaurant and the other is the place we are staying tonight. These places cater to tourists, but not pilgrims it seems.

I’ve got signatures; doodles; receipts; business cards and the label from a tin of anchovies on my various credenciales!

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
We are on the Camino Aragones and some restaurants, bars, hotels do not have a stamp. It depend on which route you walk.
Please please please give an update about where you stayed how the route is and just info for us future Aragones walkers. Will start in October!

Stamps are available in most all of the hotels, hostels, albergues, bars, restaurants, churches, police stations on the two Caminos I walked. Frances and Portuguese. You won't have any problems getting them daily. Reminder, for the purposes of earning the Compostela, it doesn't really matter what you have before on your passport until you get to within the last 100K. Then you need two per day.

Getting stamps is not the problem. For some of us so obsessed with getting stamps, running out of room on the credential is the problem.
