I am looking to break down the 2 long 28 km days between these cities into 3 days. Can anyone suggest alternates towns to stop at instead of Logrono and Najera . That would mean i walk approximately 18 km a day which i would prefer. Any recommendations on hotels and restaurants would be greatly welcomed too.

I love Viana and Navarrete.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

We walked through Vianna and wished we had stayed there.

We have also stayed at Sotes which is on the bike path for the Camino before you reach Ventosa. Lovely albergue, but it was a long way up the hill.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Sansol is wonderful and a lovely small albergue there next to the church. There are options on the Gronze page

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I've stayed in many villages between those two, and all were nice. But the closest you can get to even thirds would be Viana and Navarrete.

Last year, we stayed in Navaretta , Casa Rual Ignatius, the former home of St Ignatius of Loyola
Beautifully renovated, ,it has a lovely outside space where we ate with provisions bought at the supermarket
Its right on the Camino and a minutes walk from the beautiful Church of Santa Maria.
