There are so many miraculous medical uses for Gore-Tex, but I'm grateful my only need has been to keep me dry. I love my Gore-Tex jackets.

The Gore-Tex plant is not far from us and a relative worked there for a number of years. From what I recall, he described it as a good environment to work in, with Gore himself very present and hands on. May he rest in peace.

The Gore-Tex tent along the Camino and in SdC were an inspirational piece of marketing together with their Camino angels to repair the pilgrims’ feet.
