Too many and too often!
The municipal albergue does not accept reservations. First come, first served. So there may be beds there on the day. When the beds there are full then a sports hall has been made available for people to sleep on the floor. Not everyone's first choice but better than sleeping outdoors.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

It’s like the wild West here right now - every night people are looking for beds and every night people are being turned away People are showing up without reservations and they’re being turned away in SJPP, Orrison, Borda, and Roncesvalles , and then Zubiri,

What should you do? If you can’t find beds, you should plan your trip for another time. That’s what I would do.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

I have booked my other stay so I can not plan my trip another time.

I have read on other threads that the local firehall has most often taken care of the overflow by letting pilgrims sleep on the floor on gym mats. Let the pilgrim office know you have been unsuccessful in booking your stay in SJPP when you register.

Valcarlos on the lower camino route is about 11 km west of SJPdP and an easy walk. Maybe you'll have time to get there for your first night. Certainly if you take a taxi. You could taxi back to SJPdP in the morning or continue your walk from Valcarlos. Other towns near SJPdP could do as well I suppose.

I found I couldn't make any reservation in SJPP in the coming days. They are fully booked. I can't find even a single bed. What should I do? Is there anybody has a same situation?

Arrive in SJPP. Go to the Pilgrims Office (Bureau d'accueil des pèlerins). Even on days with the highest influx of pilgrims they have found and/or organised a place to sleep for every single person who came to them and asked for assistance with finding accommodation for the night. On every day in May in every year. This, obviously, includes shared dormitories and mats in a sportshall or similar.

Buen Camino!

It is good that you have booked your other [subsequent] stay.

Just for general information: At the time of writing (Monday) there are even still beds available for reservation at Roncesvalles in the coming days, namely now on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

Edited to add: This means that it will not be as busy in SJPP in the coming days as it was on previous days around the 1st of May. Because the overwhelming majority of pilgrims walk from SJPP to Roncesvalles.

I am not at all in your situation. I am sorry for your distress. I have no idea when or how you hope to reach Roncesvalles. When you get there (I see you are from a Spanish city, at least on the forum description) so you should know enough to get you by taxi to the next option along the route.
By the way, if there is no bed for you, step in to the village - it is a small place! - and then move on! There are other options. Burguete is not even 3km further on. Espinal is about 6km further on. You are less than 40km from Pamplona, and there are some more options along the way.
And you do not even HAVE to begin in Roncesvalles. Begin where you find a bed.
After all that, roughly one third of beds are available without booking, in Roncesvalles. Does that console you? I hope so, truly. 👣

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

This is certainly true, but these beds fill up fast. The last few days they were full at approx. 2.30 / 3 pm. But as Kathar1na stated earlier in this thread, by the end of this week (after Ascension Day) the amount of reservations is going down.

Not sure why there are posts about Roncesvalles when OP specifically stated that they had an issue with SJPdP and do have reservations "for other places" (presuming Roncesvalles and beyond are just that)

I don't know if its for naught or not however if all the albergues, hostals, gites, etc. are booked are the places in 'regular' (if you will) hotels? I mean yes it is very nice to grab a bunk for €15-20 but under these dire circumstances and hopefully for one night only - throw part of the budget out the window and pay whatever and get a room in one of those?

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

I do hope you shall find a place. In my opinion, booking beds ahead is killing the Camino. It's a tourists jaunt now. People staring at their phone apps simply to book the next evening. No adventure, no surprises. Taking on the unknown can be very rewarding. A selfish atitude is descending upon the Camino. I believe booking.com take a commission as well. Gone....

I wish you a buen Camino.
