Rest day at Lucca, Italy ... Via Francigena
Walked all around the walled in old town. Climbed up the bell tower of St Martin Cathedral. I did not take any photos up there, because the top was covered in wire mesh. I could see all the many towers of the town. I have some photos of inside the cathedral.

Then I headed over to Torre Guinigi. It is open at the top and some great views. There are trees up there.

After that, I went to Torre Delle Ore. I did not go up that one.

So much to see in Lucca. I headed back to see the Chiesa di San Michele in Foro.

Spent much time wondering around. One last place I wanted to see was Giacomo Puccini’s place.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

For those who are planning to go to Lucca I highly recommend climbing the ancient Torre delle Ore (clock tower); it was amazing!

We also loved walking along the ancient aquaduct, located not far from the train station.
