Rest day stamps

Likely a silly question but we are within 100km of Santiago and taking a rest day in Padron..so do we need to have 2 stamps each day whilst in Padron to satisfy the Pilgrims Office in order to obtain our compostela or will our original stamps suffice?

You only need two stamps on the days that you are walking.

To obtain your compostela, it's not about length of time or actual days on the path but the places you pass through or stay at along the way.

Some pilgrims make it a sport to see how many stamps they can collect, go for it on your rest day!

There is no way this is a silly question as I asked exactly the same question very recently!
Trecile has answered it perfectly and clearly. Two stamps per day on the days that you are walking.
