Hi and greetings to all fellow Pilgrims, My name is Tim Hardy live in Belfast, and will be flying to Biarritz on the 6th May and making my way to St Jean Pied -de -port to start my camino on the 7th, and hope to arrive in Santiago on the 9th June my 63 Birthday, well thats the plan.
So if you see a man with white hair and a blue backpack do say, Hi.I am still trying to get my weight down in my backpack ! and had to buy new boots as my old pair are to heavy 'so invested in a lighter pair so now I am breaking them in. Hasta la vista! Tim.

31 days is fairly flying Tim. Take it easy the first week - don't stress trying to keep a planned schedule. As you get fitter you can pick up pace and by the time you reach Burgos you'll be able to make up any lost mileage between there and Leon.

My wife (62) and I (65) are leaving Norway today for our 3th camino!
London tonight, Biarritz tomorrow. Roncevalles friday, Zubiri saturday ....

If someone wanted to produce a Camino Frances 'tips and info' guide book of 200 pages you couldn't do better than 199 blank pages and the 200th with just

Look out for me , chris murray , I am making my first pilgrimage from St Jean starting in a few weeks time. I am 65 years also bought new boots as others too heavy and 40 years old.I was born in Coleraine , now live in Brittany.See you soon !
