Hi, all.

I'm trying to book my flight (well, price it so that I can, hopefully, book it as soon as I get paid in June), and I'm noticing that it is cheaper to fly back home out of La Coruna or Vigo by close to $100 US than it is to fly out of Santiago de Compostela (SCQ). How easy/hard is it to get to either of these places from Santiago? I plugged them into mapquest, and both of them are about 50-60 miles away. I also plugged the two cities into the Movelia website to see if they had service, but either I'm not putting the right name in or they don't have direct bus routes to these cities. If it is going to cost the same amount to get a taxi there as it would to fly out of SCQ, then I would be willing to do that, but I just need to know relative prices. :)

Thanks!!!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Vigo very easy, just take the train out of Santiago to Vigo. Departs several times a day.

Both airports can be reached easily using train and then taxi. A Coruna is the slightly nearer of the two. Journey time just over 1/2 hour on train to A Coruna station then a further 15 mins by taxi. I think it was around about 18 Euros for taxi the last time that I did it.

Vigo is approx 1.5 hours by train then a further 15 mins by taxi. You can get off the train at Redondela de Galicia, the stop before Vigo, and taxi up to the airport from there. Taxi about 15 mins and was 15 euros in 2011.

Lastly, there is a bus between SDC and Coruna which stops on the main road just outside the airport, 5-10 min walk to get to the terminal. Not every bus between the two cities takes that route so depends on flight times.

I hope your plans come together. Drop me a PM if you want a hand looking up specific times.
