I've seen many maps (like the one below) that show a diagonal route running southeast from Muxia to Hospital de Logoso. I know the SdC-Finisterre-Muxia route is marked in both directions. Does anyone know whether the Muxia-Hospital de Logoso route is also marked in both directions?

AnthonyDavies,

I walked the route to Muxia staying at pilgrim albergues in Negreira, Santa Mariña de Maroñas, and Dumbria. I do not recall if the path was marked in both directions. After Hospital de Logoso much was on remote forest paths
Since heavy rain and strong wind were the daily norms on this solitary route in December perseverance was peremptory. What a delight it was to arrive above Muxia and at last see the sea.

Good luck and Buen camino!

From memory, at least as far as Quintans, it is way marked for the return route to Santiago. I didn’t go the whole way.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

I am wondering the same thing too, as I will be walking back towards Santiago from Muxia in mid-May.

I thought I had saved this, but can’t find it. Where is a place to stay in Muxia to relax and reflect on the Camino journey?
