Roncesvalles numbers so far similar to last year

Remarkably, the prior of the Colegiata reports that pilgrim numbers so far this year, 17500, are little down on last, despite last year being a holy year. He reports that the summer holidays, July-September, generally sees an 'explosion' of numbers of young Spanish walkers, whereas in other months age is higher and 2/3 non-Spanish.
