Samos to Sarria

Hi!
Most of the maps I've seen they go from Samos to the road (LU-5602) and from there to Sarria following the road (red+blue in the image attached).
I've seen an alternative that goes following smaller lanes instead of the road and it´s more appealing to me (green in the image). Has anybody followed this way? Are there marks?
Thanks!!

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
That is not my recollection of the walk from Samos. I recall the route as being on paths and tracks that may parallel the road but I don't recall much actual road walking.

The LU-633 is not waymarked but it is just the one road. I have a half memory of it being the 'cyclist' route in one old guide but a can't find it on my book shelves.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
