I have not walked this route this year but walked in 2013 but I don't think it will have changed much. This was my route and where I stayed.
Verin albergue, Vilar de Rei albergue, Sandias albergue, Allariz Hostel Alarico although I later found out there was an albergue here. In Verin the key was from the turismo next door and in Vila and Sandias I had to ring for someone to open up, the hospitalera's live nearby.
Hope this is of some use, I walked in March so it was very quiet.

How did you find the route from A Gudiña to Verín? The waymarking was pretty hideous with non existent conchas in the villages and badly overgrown ones at times. Got lost 3 times that day and walked almost 60 km as a result. If you search for Verín and VDLP June 2015 you will get the thread for my trip. The Verín Albergue was nice though!

So many since 2003.
Hi Donna, yes I stayed in the albergue in Verin last year after the VdlP (Portuguese variant). From there I walked back up to Laza. This year I’m doing the Camino Portuguese Interior from Viseu to Chaves which brings me to Verin again. I can’t wait to stay in the lovely albergue again and return to the gorgeous bar in the little square. Wonderful food!
I have not walked the lower route of the Sanabres before and would like to try it this year. I am sure it will be quiet in mid October though. I was just hoping to get a little more recent info on the stretch from Verin to Ourense.

Hi, Grace, really hoping you will post with news on this Caminho. I think I'll have to reduce my "camino days" next year, and this might fit just perfectly. I have seen some pictures of the route and it looks absolutely beautiful. I've been to many of the cities along the route, but would love to connect them with my feet rather than by car.

Buen camino, Laurie

I'am not perfect, but I'm always myself!!!
Hi, has anyone walked this lower route of the Sanabres in 2015, I’d love any updates on albergues/route etc.
Hola, Grace!
I was walking the higher route but in A Gudiña I've met Slovenian guy walking back on Sanabres through Verin. He told me that the route is beautiful and albergue in Allariz really luxurious and run by extremely nice people.

Ultreia!
