Santo Domingo to Leon April/May 2009

Hello Everyone

I am starting part 2 of my Camino from Santo Domingo on April 18 and I am planning to reach Leon on May 4th. As you can see, I am a rather slow pilgrim, just creeping along! I am a middle aged Irishman, so watch out for me! I Hope to meet some forum members on the Camino.

Don't be surprised if you cover more ground than that. You'll be covering most of the meseta once you get out of Burgos.

Nothing wrong with being slow Paul.... I was a snail as well! But I reckon I got to meet more people that way 8)
Not long until you leave home now. All the best! Maybe you will meet Rebekah in Moratinos....if she stays home long enough from her own Caminos!!

Yes I was pretty slow too, especially going uphill. Sometimes it took me hours just to go a few clicks. But it took me less than an hour to walk the 6k stretch between Boadilla del Camino & Fromista. :shock:
