Time of past OR future Camino
Walked the Camino Francés and way to Finisterre and Muxia. Planning on walking the Camino Ingles.
Hello, I am searching for 2 pilgrims with whom I walked a few days last year.
I'm looking for the German Andy, or Andreas, and his mother Kristina from Berlin.
We met on the Camino Frances just passed Villafranca del Bierzo at the 14th of May, and stayed together in albergues in Trabadelo, La Faba and Fonfria. We lost sight of each other in Triacastella when I decided to take the detour to Samos and they walked straight to Saria. Andreas is 39, had walked the Camino del Norte on his own before, and done backpack-trips through Maroc and Australia. He celebrated his birthday on the camino, If I remember right the 3th of June, he hoped to walk into Santiago that day. Kristine is 65, could only talk German and had just recoverd from breastcancer.

I hoped the rest of my camino to see them again and kept asking other pilgrims if they had met them, but nobody had, which made me wonder if they maybe had stopped walking. Kristine had a lot of problems walking and I kept wondering how their camino ended, it seemed like she was not going to make it. I could get along with both of them very well and Kristina was immensely happy to find another pilgrim who could talk German. (I'm from the Netherlands and speak 4 languages). Pilgrims come and go but these 2 stayed in my memory, I am still wondering about them a year later.

Has anyone met them, walked with/talked to them or maybe even have their contacts? Or does anyone know a German camino forum where I could post this same message?
I'll post a photo from them here, where we had a meal together in the albergue in Trabadelo. Kristina is the grey-haired woman on the far left with the blue shirt, Andreas is next to her in a green sweater.

Thanx everyone!

This post reminds me of a request I made about three months ago. There ought to be a Camino "Lost and Found"! Some central post where you could find those "I thought I would see them later" people or they could find you. I'm still looking for Eileen from "Washington"? state in the US.
