sending luggage from SJPDP to Roncesvalles

We are flying from New Zealand and want to put our packs in carriers to get them there undamaged ,what we are thinking about doing is sending sleeping bags, clothes etc in pack carriers to Roncesvalles
and just taking food and water in our packs from St Jean to Roncesvalles and crossing over in one day ,we are both female late 50s and 60s.
We were planning on posting pack carriers from St Jean to Santiago ,is it possible to post them from Roncesvalles or will we end up having to get them to Pamplona to post from there

sorry if this is repetitive ,have been trying to find information on here

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
thanks for that ,looks like we will need to send them to Pamplona or we will send a small bag with sleeping bag etc to Roncesvalles and send pack covers and extra clothes straight to Santiago

You would be wise to also carry rain gear with you, and, depending on the time of year, also carrying a fleece jacket, etc. as suitable for potential weather conditions as you cross the mountains.

Yes those would be with us too ,just think maybe lighten the load a bit for the first day out

If I may...

We can also transport your luggage stage by stage. You can read an English language description of our service at our website:

http://www.caminofacil.net/en/

You can send part of your luggage straight to Santiago for storage (at Ivar's place, for example :), though we also offer that service), and send the things you'll need on a day by day basis through our service. We do pick up bags at St-Jean and also at Roncesvalles.

Please ask if you have any doubts.
You might consider placing this info in Ivar's "Resources" section? Seems like a useful service

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
All commercial posts should be in the Resources section and not the general forum. We have a strict policy about this; if we did not the forum would be overrun. It is fine to post links or posts to products or services if you are a member with no financial or other benefit to be gained. I will move the post by @Caminofácil to the resources section and leave a link here

It is easy to post something in the Resources section - go to the top menu and find the appropriate area, then start a new thread.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Here is a pic from 2016, I love the simplicity of the sketch map and directions "1 km climb up, 5km flat, 5km down". I wonder how the prices are now?
Reposted from Wise Pilgrim comments, was hiking with this pilgrim. Don’t follow app,go just a bit further past to well marked turn, not the one with spray painted arrow on stop sign:
