Frances September "2014"
Made it to viana where there is a great fiesta today. I started to really feel I was merging the walking, landscape and physical today. Found Roncesvalles to zubiri had way more rock than I expected. Bodies coping well, love the food and the people are so generous. We keep seeing people we started with and it's like seeing a long lost friend. Looks like a big party tonight we are in a hotel so we don't have to be in by a certain time. Buen camino

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc

Today and tomorrow and... and... which means it'll go on even all night long. Watch the "bulls" running and youth activities at the ring (cows, of course) and people in their white shirts with red foulards filling the plaza at the church and surrounding bars. Viana's great fiesta!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hello there, we are in carrion de los condes and put our feet to the track in earnest tomorrow. Both feeling quite nervous. Glad to hear you are going so well, watch out for the bright orange and bright blue backpacks, with Camino patches and Aussie badge, that'll be us. Alan has a khaki hat with a solar panel on it!!! Have culled twice and have our packs weights at reasonable levels but who knows may even pitch more stuff as we go along. Buen Camino.
Ps has anyone seen a young woman from Australia named Kula?

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I passed through Viana shortly after you and the folks there seemed to be removing the bull ring and decorations.
I missed a big party by the looks of things. :)

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Made it to Burgos !!! We are enjoying everything. Three times we were lost trying to get to our accommodation in various cities, and I said 'the camino will provide' and within seconds someone has literally escorted us through alleys to show us where to go. As forum veterans have always said, when you get here it all falls into place. Sightseeing tomorrow. Thanks again forum for all your advice. Buen camino

In Leon all going well. We get tired but shower, wash our clothes, eat, sleep and hit the trail again the next day! Those who have done this know the drill! Husband has had two minor blisters fixed with needle and thread and we both have one black toenail !!! I love my boots and even wear them in preference to sandals! Enjoying the differences in the areas we have been through. I would love some steamed veggies though!!

All good. Buen camino
