Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Waterproof boots will not be necessary in June. It is not likely to rain beyond a mist.

You need a sleeping bag/sack for albergues, but several of the stopping points are hostales/hoteles. It will not be cold, there are no "high" elevations, so you will not need extreme warmth. A silk/nylon/cotton sleep sack will be sufficient.

IMO, never waterproof boots (except the dead of winter when your feet will not sweat). They take forever to dry once they inevitably get wet (usually after about an hour of rain), and can cause massive blisters because they create sweaty feet.

For a summer Camino, I would not carry a sleeping bag. Just a liner bag (my favorite is Cocoon-- ripstop silk for the shoulder seasons (4oz), Egyptian cotton for the summer (more breathable), sleeping pilgrims stacked in bunk beds generate amazing amounts of heat. If you do hit a cool night, I carry a lightweight down jacket that I can also sleep in (if there is no blankets). Look at MH Ghostwisperer or MontBell.

Buen Camino,

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
can support that waterproof boots only needed in the spring when I did the Ingles. now all the spring puddles and the mud on the Ingles should be dry long ago, so trail runners or similar should suffice. In June, if it does rain, these should soon dry out

Anyone walking the Ingles this week?.Still few pilgrims? How's the weather conditions? Walking it next week. Thanks
Hi! Im currently on the Ingles, and I just wanna sing the praises of a stop in Mino. I had some extra time and so had decided to break up the camino to start on the 8th and arrive in to Santiago...
I fly to A Coruña this Wednesday to start walking from Ferrol on Thursday (yes I've packed all the waterproofs 🫣)... I was planning on using the same pilgrim passport that I used on the St James'...
