Don’t know if the provider makes a difference when getting a SIM card and plan. Main players I think are Vodafone and Orange. Any reason to choose one over on these two routes?

Will also be looking at eSim use for my home plan (iPhone 13) however will research this on Forum first to get up to speed and then ask questions if need be.

Thanks

Guy

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

I have it direct from the mouth of Mr. Salvador himself. He says that Movistar has the best coverage in the mountains. He himself has Vodafone because it gives him a good plan for his frequent travels to visit family in the US, but says Movistar is better in terms of coverage on the route.

I have always used Vodafone, but I have never had the occasion to check coverage in the mountains.

I was going to say Vodafone as I use them (have used Orange previously) as they have a great plan that works great for me and is super easy to recharge as I am always on the Camino for more than a month. But our peregrina 2000 is the Empress of our camino forum and I bow to her wisdom!!!! :) ;) :)
