 Yep, checked the weather forecast and it appears Burgos will get a white cover tonite (28 April 2013)!

Please (if you can) post where are you in the Camino and the actual weather conditions!

Walked from Castorjeriz yesterday 4/27/13 to Boadilla rather than going on to Fromista due to bad weather. It was so cold my husband said it is sleet. By the time we reached Boadilla around 2p.m. bad weather caught up with us and started snowing.
Today 4/28 walked to Fromista, it was very cold and windy, we decided to take the train to Leon. More bad weather for the next few days.

WOW! Sorry to hear the impact of bad weather on your plans, islandflygirl. The forecast for Leon for the next 3 days is rain, but daytime temps will be in the lower 60's deg F. At night, however, it drops quite a bit. It seems prime walking hours are between 11am-5pm.

Stay safe! BUEN CAMINO!

Stating the obvious, but it is only April. Spring is beautiful but unsettled weather, including cold snaps, is the norm.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
