Snow in high elevations

I just saw the weather report on TVE and saw the snow-flake sign for the first time this year. Higher elevations of northern Spain might get some of it, probably not much, but it means that the 20c days that we have had are over.

My in laws harvested tomatoes and green peppers yesterday, not normal for November. 5 weeks from Christmas and we need some winter! (Remember I am Norwegian!).

Un saludo,
Ivar

Ivar, here in Seattle, we have had snow, with lots of snow in the mountains. With the passage of time, my Norwegian language skills are gone, but I remember my father praising big snow falls as great for cross country skiing.

When we did the Camino in late March and April of this year, I was so glad we only had to contend with occasional small patches of snow along the first part of EL Camino Frances.

Anyway, enjoy whatever weather you may have in Santiago. Steve

snow in high elevations and in Seattle

Ivar, I live next to Ballard and often eat there. I trained for El Camino on the bike and foot path that passes through Ballard and continues along the shore to the north part of Seattle.

We had snow again last night. The Seattle football team, the Seahawks, played at home on a nationally televised game, so the whole nation saw Seattle`s snow.

Take care, Steve

Yepp, first cold night/morning in Santiago this year. They talk about 0c (32F) as a low last night in Santiago.

O'Cebreiro certainly had less due to the elevation. The bright side is that there are no clouds, and this means that in a few hours it will be sunny and (my guess) about 10-15c.

Un saludo,
Ivar
