I inquired about crossing the border into A Guardia from Hotel San Benito and received this response:

Good afternoon,

The Ferry works from tomorrow after months stopped. For this reason we DO NOT know the schedule yet, but a TAXI BOAT can always cross you. There are several in the area.

Margaret, Did you ask how much a Taxi boat cost? I just have an interest based upon previous threads concerning the lack of availability of the Ferry for various reasons and the frustration of Peregrinos who had hikked a long way to find they now had to go even further.
