This summer me and a friend will walk camino de Madrid from Madrid to Sahagun and from there to Leon. In Leon we will walk further on along Camino del Salvador to Oviedo.
Is it possible to buy the special credencial for Camino del Salvador in Leon?
Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
The Salvador credential is available at the albergue in Leon. I think they charge two euros. It's great because it has a lot of information about the accommodations, stages, etc. Here's what the Salvador looks like today:
Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.
Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.
That was good to know, I didn't know there was a special credencial for that route.
I'm thinking about walking that route, too. I thought you used the same all the way.
Can you walk Madrid- Sahagun- Leon with the same credential you got in Madrid, before that?
And if you wish to continue to Santiago after Oviedo?
What credential do you use then?

Ok now I'm with you.
I thought that was something new. A new credencial for every route.
But it really looks nice with lots of information on it.
Think I want one too!
Thank you Laurie for putting up with all stupid questions.
Hey friends!

I stayed in Leon last night, in the benedictinas albergue. Relatively few pilgrims, which was a bit surprising but I didn’t mind. I had hoped to get a full nights rest but eh, I think I caught a...
