Time of past OR future Camino
From July 26, 2014 from Burgos to Santiago
July/August 2015 planned the Camino Portugues.
.... Who else is out there?

I'm from Germany and it is my first Camino. Normally I'm traveling around the world in my profession a lot, so I'm looking forward to a slower life during this trip.

Any recommendations where I should go as soon as I'll arrive late afternoon in Burgos for accommodation of the first night?

Looking so much forward to that time!

Thanks! Yes I have given myself 21 days as well. I'll report.

As promised I want to give a small feedback on my Camino. I started in Burgos on July 26 and my first day led me some 22km, which I thought fine for a first day. On my second day I fully exaggerated and climbed in the afternoon heat an ugly steep hill of the Meseta, followed by a long, hot stretch woot shadow. After around 30km I ended at a former church and stayed there with three more pilgrims - one of my best nights.
Step by step I got more into a tune and a little group together with other pilgrims was formed. Not necessarily were we walking together, no we mixed and mingled and - my favorite - walked alone during the day. But we organized us together to find accommodation, spend evenings, pushed us to limits and started friendships.
I reached Santiago after 19 walking days, and was happy to have a few days in the town to finally arrive and re-meet people from my "Camino". A tough way, a beautiful way and a kind way..... Everything together. The feeling is hard to describe - I can only recommend "go for it"!
