Starting from Oleron in September

Hi. Two of us---older but hardly wiser---are planning to walk the Camino for the third time (how does this happen anyway?). We are thinking of starting in Oleron, France around the first of September and crossing the Pyrenees to Jaca...and so on. And on. Anybody done the Oleron/Pyrenees thing? Is the trail well marked? What's the best airport to fly in to? Toulouse? Train from Toulouse to Oleron? Donkey cart? Also, dear gringos, what can we expect from the Leonese Mountains around the beginning of October? assuming you mean Oloron the nearest airport is Pau, though if you're flying there, you might just as well wander down the road to Lescar and pick up the GR there - it's only a day or so extra walking. There are far more flights to Toulouse of course - and why not start the GR there rather than catch the train to Oloron?

Re Leonese mts, could be fine autumnal weather, could be raining, could be both in one day - your guess is as good as mine ;-)
