Take a look at my Camino Santiago Tribute

Hi, my name is Sturla, and I come from a small village on the West Coast of Norway. In a couple of years ago I walked the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela with a two-sided aim: To walk the pilgrimage from St. Jean Pied de Port by foot, and to make a film about the road and the people I met on my way.

As I carried along almost 25 kg (mostly camera equipment), both aims became a bit more difficult then I first thought it would be. But I managed to walk to Santiago de Compostela, using a bit more time than most pilgrims. Making a documentary film about this fantastic journey has of course taken even longer time.

Today I am really proud to say that I succeeded to reach both of my aims. The experience of walking the pilgrimage will for ever stay in my heart, and those of you who have already done the pilgrimage, will recognize the feeling I try to describe in my film. My film, named "In Between" (after a saying from one of the characters in the film), is now finally available for all of you to watch on the internet, or by DVD.

I started out making this film without any financial support, and can now, almost two years after, still say that the film has been made in true love to the people I met on the Camino, and the beautiful pilgrimage I were so fortunate to experience.

By this I have made a tribute to the pilgrimage and the Nun singing so beautiful in the Cahtedral of Santiago. You can watch this tribute here:

kind regards
