Is it easy to get a taxi from Roncesvalle to SJPP? Would we have to phone and book one?

She carts people between Roncesvalles and St Jean nearly every day. The cost depends on how many people she picks up. It is about 9 euros per person if she has at least 3 people. But if you are alone, it will cost you 27 euros. She tries to make up a group when different people call her.
You can also book your place at the albergue in St Jean. Their website is : website http://www.espritduchemin.org and email: hubertarno@espritduchemin.org
You can get your credential at Accueil des pelerins de St-Jacques, 39 rue de la Citadelle, St Jean. The pilgrims office is open from 7h30 to 12h30 and then from 13h30 to 22h.
If you need furhter information, you can email the pilgrims' office caminopa@hotmail.com.

Hi Mouse,
If time allows would you consider walking over mountains to France?
If weather is good you have a nice day in the hills.
Furthermore it might take the "over eagerness" off your departure on the Camino!
Buen Camino

Think we will take the bus from Pamplona to Roncesvalle then a tax from there to SJPP.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
