Dawn of a new Day

Hello, i am writing for my friend, she has a B&B and is VERY busy.

She arrives in Toulouse on Sat. April 25 at 2:20pm. I did a search on this site with no success. it seems there is a train but it goes in the morning. Does anyone know the bus website for france. i haven;t had any luck. So she would like to go from Toulouse to st.jean pied de port. is it doable in the same day. I guess one goes to bayonne first?? thanks for everyones input.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hello Dawn,
She can travel from Toulouse to St Jean by train - via Bayonne. From Toulouse to Bayonne - 3.45 hours and from Bayonne to St Jean - 1.30 hours.

Sil, thanks for the post. I was thinking the bus, as her flight arrives at 2:20pm, there is a train at 4:21 and arrives in bayonne at 8:30;pm. As i remember the train to st.jean leaves around 6pm.
Other options instead of overnighting in either toulouse or Bayonne.?
thanks dawn

Perhaps she could contact the Tourist office in Toulouse and ask about buses? I'm sure I saw a post once about a bus service called Cars Régionaux from Toulouse? Anyone remember that?

Hi Sil, thanks, i did a google search for the company, (all in french of course) it seems like that company doesn't go to bayonne. Anyway, i think the best situation is for her to ask when she arrives at the airport. sometimes it is nice before hand, but that is the way it goes.

I found an old email from the Tourism office in Toulouse. I'd written to them once before about transport from Toulouse to St Jean and they sent me a page for Cars Regionaux.

In answer to your demande, I inform you that there is a train and a bus between Toulouse to Bayonne. Please contact directly the "Cars regionaux".
There, you'll have to take another train from Bayonne to St Jean Pied de Port. You'll find the time tables of the train on the web site http://www.ter-sncf.com/aquitaine

Can anyone who reads French search for a train from Toulouse to St Jean for Dawn?

I checked out the http://www.haute-garonne.fr/ site, and looked up 'transports'. As far as I could tell from the place names, it was transport in the very local area, not too far from Toulouse.
