Track Leon - Santiago

In case this could be useful for anyone:

I attached a track (kmz) of the road between León and Santiago that I prepared for my son (in case we split up at some point,...).

On the track I marked the villages where you can find albergues and the villages where there are some interesting monuments.

As I like to start walking without having an idea of in which town I will stop to sleep (After a beer -or two- I decide if I continue to the next town or if I stay 😅 ), I always like to know how far away the next villages with albergues are. For this I always carry in my mobile the track of the road with the towns, albergues and monuments.

The position of the marks does not show the exact location of the albergues or monuments. The marks only indicate that in that town there are some albergues or some monuments. If I am interested in information about a specific town, I open my guide (I usually use Gronze).

The track includes from Leon to Santiago (Camino Frances and winter Camino), but the information about albergues and monuments only includes Leon - Sarria (by Samos).

I hope this may help some of you!!

Buen Camino & Ultreia!!

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
