Hola Peregrinos
I have already purchased my Rail Europe ticket from Madrid to Sarria. But I have decided to start in Tricastela.
Does anyone know if the trains commonly stop along the way?
I am hoping to get off at this earlier stop (if there is one).

I'm going out of Triacastela. I've looked at it a bunch of ways. Chamartin (Madrid) -->Ourense on the AVE and getting a taxi from there is the best I've been able to figure out. Expensive but any other way gets pretty convoluted and takes more time.

Thank you, I'll look at that option. I just don't want to have to go backwards from Sarria if possible.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

please post if you find a better solution. I couldn't make the train and bus schedules work to Sarria and then over to Triacastela. You might be able to train to Sarria and then taxi to Triacastela if you can leave Madrid early. 10AM was the earliest train I could get on.

I leave Madrid around 1 pm, arrive sarria 5:45ish. If there is no better option, I may have to stay the night and taxi to Tricastela in the morning. I will post if I find another option.
Buen Camino!
