Tunnels & Arches

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Not such a beautiful tunnel! This was probably the scariest time on the camino. After missing a sign coming out of Villafranca del Bierza we walked through this tunnel which was very long and actually very dangerous. Luckily there was not much traffic, but when some lorries whizzed by at very close quarters it was very scary. Once out the other side we realised that we had made a mistake and had to walk back through it - still makes me shiver to think about it!

Yikes! I can imagine how scary it would be, having had some close calls with trucks along some routes. Interesting to notice the sign for horse and cart. Pretty terrifying for a horse too!

First one is actually natural arch ;)
