- Time of past OR future Camino
- CF whole & part 12-19, VF 17, VDLP+ptSbres22
Hola to all -
Some of our Melbourne Forum members are aware that there is a free screening of a Camino film by Bill Bennett to be held, which was the subject of an earlier thread I started last weekend.
The movie, “The Way, My Way” is based on the 2013 camino memoir of the same name by the well-known Aussie film maker and author, Bill Bennett. It’s a fictional film starring Chris Haywood, an Australian actor who’s been on our tv and cinema screens for decades - you’d recognise his face! He plays Bill in the movie. The film has been very well-received by focus group audiences in Sydney and overseas. It’s a wonderful film which will have audiences laughing out loud and also trying to stem the tears.
The screening has now been confirmed for next Monday, 16 October.
Details are:
10.00am for a 10.30 start at HOYTS Docklands Cinema Complex
440 Docklands Drive,
Docklands,
Melbourne.
Bill will be in the foyer to greet everyone. Here he is - for ID purposes!
The cinema has a 50 seat capacity. If you would like to go to the screening, please feel free to invite some friends. There will be room for everyone.
If you can go, please let me know and I’ll add your names and numbers to the list. I’ll then send the list to Bill.
Thank you to everyone who has expressed their interest so far … I hope you can all get to the screening on Monday.
Best wishes from Sydney -
Jenny
