Update: Wounded Knee in Arre

Time of past OR future Camino
Spring 2023/Summer 2022/2019/2018/ 2015/Fall 2013
Now everyone knows how I get lost: I spent 10 days in Villava. Not Arre. 😂
The two hospitaleros at Albergue de Villava-Atannabia are heroic. I chose to listen to the doctor and take two weeks off my knee. The hospitaleros brought me ice, gave me an elevator key, and checked on my progress daily.
Now that they are booked solid until Saturday, they reserved me a place in Pamplona for two nights (in order to get me closer to 14 days off my knee), and drove me to Pamplona. Should I return to Villava for two nights, they have offered to get me from Pamplona.
My knee recovery has been slow, but I stand a chance of making Santiago thanks to the tender loving care I received at the Villava albergue.
