Valcarlos amenities on a Sunday?

Hello all -- the last information I can find is a year old, so I'm wondering for this year (2018) if it is the case that one can stop in Valcarlos on a Sunday and find a place to get some basic provisions (a coffee, a banana, a yogurt? or even a little cured meat, cheese and bread? I recall that Valacarlos had a lovely boucherie and a well stocked grocery store when I was there in 2014 bt I was not there on a Sunday). And does it have a place to sleep if one is exhausted from jet-lag etc. on a Sunday? Dear Husband is making the journey for the first time and his first three weeks are solo. He will be exhausted, and we already know that Orrison and Honto are booked up, plus he prefers the forest walk... so Valcarlos it is.
Any help from those with *current information* will be most appreciated.
